seurin (스린)

- what is SEURIN?

SEURIN is Lost Orbit's solo project, that aims to release music based on a story. Each release is divided into chapters that each come with a short story, music, and a music video.

- why seurin?

The name SEURIN comes from a modification of a few letters of my last name. This project (unlike most of the releases listed under Lost Orbit) is really personal, and draws on many of my own life experiences. While many of my music production and mixing work for other artists is a part of Lost Orbit, seurin is a fully independent alias.

He woke up after a long and forgettable dream. Every day felt like this. A cycle. Just like the evaporation of water when it finally turns into rain, or the process by which a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. After a year living life within the same four walls, which did come with some benefits such as the loss of his fear of missing out, he desperately needed a change of pace. They appreciated all the late-night sessions, the hundreds of episodes watched, and the new music he discovered everyday. But, he also believed it was time for a change of pace. Not necessarily a new beginning, but the continuation of what he felt was unfinished. The dream began to take shape; he felt like he was finally in control. Lucid."For when you realize that you have been paralyzed not by others but by the fear in your own mind is the time you discover that you are finally free."

but then you remember it's all just a dream
and that you have to face life as it is, and have human problems, with petty solutions such as second lead syndromeHe desperately needed to take the leap of faith. For hours, and hours, it was stuck on his mind. Did he say the right thing? Are they just being nice? What if he had made a wrong move ages ago, and nobody had told him? A massive blunder, it would seem.Seeing them together was quite painful, but he simply kept it within himself. He didn't want to cause any trouble, or pain for any of them. All he wished was for both of them to be happy, and that was all that mattered. Over time, seeing them happy made him happy too.
